London Central Mosque: Kitchen Refurbishment
Glitz 4UT was contracted to refurbish the commercial kitchen at the London Central Mosque, with work spanning from May to November 2020. The project, valued at £250,000, involved demolishing the existing kitchen and redesigning it to meet the client’s specifications. A significant challenge was addressing a major mould issue, which required treatment before rebuilding could begin. To meet the project’s deadline, Glitz 4UT’s team worked around the clock. The refurbishment, which included new cabinets and tiling, was completed on time, leaving the client highly satisfied with the enhanced functionality and design of the new kitchen.
Mill Hill: Development & Rental
The owner of five plots in Mill Hill, totalling 400 square meters each, approached Glitz 4UT after receiving a referral from a private client. Their goal was to build 10 flats across the plots, and while they had already secured planning permission and initial designs, Glitz 4UT’s expertise brought new possibilities to light. Upon a thorough assessment of the site, Glitz 4UT’s engineering team recommended amendments to the existing plans, optimising the layout within the approved planning permissions. The client’s architect reviewed and approved these changes, trusting Glitz 4UT’s guidance.
North West London: Residential Property Remodel and Extension
In March 2022, we were contracted to remodel and extend a 1930s two-storey home, valued at £520,000. The project involved modernising the kitchen, bathroom, windows, and floors while adding a conservatory and L-shaped dining room.
A key challenge was maintaining the home’s original 1930s aesthetic. Our architect ensured design consistency, while our team sourced materials locally to match the original build. The project, initially estimated for six months, was completed in just four, exceeding the client’s expectations in both speed and quality. The client praised our consistent communication and the exceptional results.
North West London: Residential Property Split and Refurbishment
In November 2019, we were contracted to split a 7-bedroom London property into two semi-detached homes (3-bed and 4-bed). Valued at £325,000, the project required council approval and included significant stair repairs.
Our team of 25, including subcontractors, completed the project in under 3 months, overseen by an operational manager for quality assurance.
All construction adhered to council specifications, with detailed before-and-after photos highlighting the transformation. Both the property owner and Brent Council were highly satisfied, with the council representative confirming all work met regulatory standards upon final inspection.
